Dabei konnte sich The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild den begehrten best of gamescom award sichern. Als bestes PS4 Spiel wurde For Honor von Ubisoft ausgezeichnet. Das beste Xbox One Spiel hieß Sea of Thieves. Als beste neue Hardware konnte Playstation VR überzeugen.
